| Game Summary | In an exciting game, the Sugar Kings came from behind and defeated the Devil Rays 5-4. Down 4-3 with one out in the bottom of the fifth, Bentz beat out an infield hit for a single to start the Sugar King's rally. Leung then blasted a double in the gap in right-center to put runners at second and third. That set the stage for Valva, who blasted a single down the right field line to score two runs! In the top of the sixth, the Devil Rays threatened, loading the bases with two out. The Sugar Kings got the final out on a ground ball to end the game. During the game, several runners were tagged out at the plate trying to score. Excellent pitching performances were turned in by Greenberg and Grayson for then Devil Rays and Bentz and Leung for the Sugar Kings. |
