Paw Sox Notes:
The PAWSOX had to go extra innings to beat the gritty Marlins. This game had something for everyone; two SOX runners thrown out at the plate, pickoffs at first base, rundowns,and with two out in the bottom of the 7th a 'Jackie Robinson' like attempted steal of home that came up short on a very close play at the plate. In the top of the 8th the PAWSOX behind key hits by Evan M, Bryan O, John B, Michael G, and Isai D. were able to register 7 unanswered runs. Timmy R started and gave up 2 runs over 3 innings. John B, who pitched his first game ever, pitched two solid innings and gave up 1 earned run. Isai D pitched the final 3 innings giving up one run.
