Game Summary | The Marlins played a near-perfect game against the Mariners. Safe battled through sickness to throw four shutout innings and Slo-Mo threw a solid three innings to lead the way for the Marlins. A solid defense only made one error behind the pitchers and turned your traditional 6-4-3 double play. At the plate, the star of the day was Brett H. Brett went 2 for 2 with three RBI on a bases-clearing double in the fifth. For the Mariners, Jake B. pitched a solid game and Kevin H. led a steady Mariners defense. In the end, Brett H.'s clutch hit in the bottom of the fifth was the difference. |
