Reds Notes:
The Reds moved to 3-0 on the strength of a complete game 3-hitter from pitcher Kevin R. The Reds' ace kept the Rockies potent offense off balance throughout the game and finished strong by retiring the side in order in the 6th and 7th innings. Kenny P. and Andrew C. had two hits apiece to help the Reds scratch out some runs against tough Colorado pitching. Andrew C., Keith H., and Craig H. came through with clutch plays in the field to help keep the Rockies in check.

The Reds now return from their challenging San Diego to Denver road trip for a home game against the Mariners next Saturday.
