| Team Summaries | Mission Notes: This was and extremely close game that wasn't decided until the Mission scored a run in the bottom of the 7th with two out to win 9 -8. The Padres came out strong scoring 3 in the first and third innings to take a 6-0 lead. The Mission fought back to with 5 runs in the 4th but the Padres came back with 2 more in the 6th. The Mission then scored 3 in the bottom of the 6th to tie the game and won with a run in the bottom of the 7th. Justin Griggs was the star of the game for the Padres with his pitching, hitting (a triple and two other hits) and the defensive play of the game at shortstop in the 7th. Padres Notes: |
