Firebirds Notes:
Sam Costello got the win and Ben Burg got the save as the Firebirds coupled some timely defense with just enough hit production to nip the PawSox in a hard-fought comeback victory. Michael Goldberg had three hits, Ben Burg survived a scary head-first crash into the centerfield fence, and Slava Wexler added two hits, 2 RBIs, and a great catch in the left-centerfield gap to help the cause.
