| Game Summary | The Muckdogs and Stars fought a close battle for the first three innings Sunday at Caldecott. Cooper H of the Muckdogs and Eli H of the Stars both pitched excellent as it was 1-0 Muckdogs going into the 4th. The Muckdogs scored their first point early in the first inning when Sam A drove in Doug H. In the 4th the Stars, led by big hits from Jerry M and Collin L, scored 6 but the Dogs really came to life in the bottom of 4th scoring 12. Teddy A earned a triple thanks to speedy base running, while Max G and Kellen D provided thrills with stolen bases. For the Stars, Calvin W went 3-3 and Eli H went 2-3 with one hit almost touching the fence. Ulli L closed the game in the sixth inning striking out one batter and giving up only two hits. | ||
