| Game Summary | The bats dominated exciting AAA action at Caldecott that saw 27 hits in a tightly contested game despite the score. The Rivercats combined for 16 hits, led by Eli W (4 hits, 4 runs), Matt L (3 hits, 4 runs), Andrew W, Josh W, Aidan S and Jack B (2 hits each). Cristian H pitched three strong innings yielding only 2 runs, as well as scoring 5 runs. The score was kept close through five by Dragons pitcher Lincoln H's heated fastball, and the Dragons battled back to take the lead on hits from Nick A, Lincoln H, and Josh C, and base hits from Jesse C, Coby S and Ian L. The Rivercats rallied for 13 runs in the sixth, and closer Alex C kept the Dragons off the bases to end the game. |
