| Game Summary | In a Mother’s Day duel at OAB, Rivercat pitching held the Osprey bats to 7 hits scattered over 6 innings. With Dillon R on the mound, RBIs from Eli W and Josh W put the Cats in the lead. Cristian H held the Ospreys to single run in the first as Jared L singled and stole his way home. Following a double by Gabe B, an RBI from Jack B added 2 more runs in the second for the Cats. The Ospreys answered again on Sam T’s steal of home after he reached third on a towering shot to left. The Cats broke it open in the third, scoring 4 on hits from Travis N, Eli W, and a 2-run RBI double by Alex C. Following a hit by Rafie H in the bottom half of the third, a double play by the Cats kept the Ospreys from scoring. The Cats added 2 more runs the fifth on hits from Matt L, Cristian H and Josh W, and the Ospreys fought back with 2 runs of their own on a double from Jake P and a single from Sam T who again stole home. The sixth inning was dominated by the pitchers, as Osprey Luke S and Rivercat Matt L retired both sides in order. | ||
