| Game Summary | The Marlins clinched the regular season championship with an impressive performance by The Truth. Nick S. ("SOS") had a clutch hit in the bottom of the sixth to put the Marlins up 2-0 and Harlan the Darlin' Marlin made an awesome running catch in the top of the seventh to close the game out. Asher F. ("Dare") matched The Truth inning for inning until the bottom of the sixth. In the most exciting game in some time at the Senior American level, the crowd was thoroughly entertained by this wonderfl game played by two great teams. In the end, The Truth' two hit, sixteen strikeout performance was too much for the Firebirds. With the win, the Marlins clinched their second TOC berth in three years. |
