| Team Summaries | St. Matthew - Ziolo Notes: Opening day matchup saw St. Matthew’s displaying a balanced offensive attack and a swarming defense against a never quit St. Ann’s team. Congrats on a great job by Matt G., Jacob and Patrick on some sharp shooting from the field and some tough defense. Nice points by Mike G. off the drive to the hoop. Kudos to Chris E. for shutting down the paint and hitting from the f/t line. Excellent job by a versatile Carson playing in a new position and making it work up and down the court. Awesome rebounding from everywhere mixed with gritty play by Brady. Great job by Jimmy and Chris Z. on some lights out shooting including a few for the ESPN highlights!
