Game Summary The Celtics caught a big wave and rode the Tsunamis to their first victory with superb team play by Nicholas Simpson, Alex Rados and Michael Woodworth. Nels Bergeron led all scorers with 12 points and 11 rebounds, followed closely by Thomas Lee who pumped in 10 points, including a three pointer. A total team effort by all the Celtics paid off against a tough Tsunami squad. While their defense surrendered just four points in the second half, the Tsunamis surged back from a 10-point deficit but couldn’t quite catch the Celtics. The Tsunamis crashed the boards as a team, especially T’Aundre Smith and Jason Johnson, who had five rebounds each. Charley Nordin led the Tsunamis’ balanced scoring, with six points. Sam Wu played stellar defense for the second straight game, and Edan Winckler scored his first-ever AYB basket.
