| Game Summary | The game started as a defensive battle led by Jake Shay's three rebounds, one block and one point, and Zachary Engberg's two rebounds the Blues Brothers carried a first quarter lead of 4-2. By halftime, the Gladiators, led by Sean Cunningham's game high 12 points and Zach Bailey's four points, had improved their lead to 11-8. In the third quarter, the Blue Brothers -- behind Max Jacobs' 14 rebounds, 11 points and one block, and Ben Ingalls' four rebounds, one assist and two points -- kept the game close. This was not enough as three points from Niccolo Deluca and key defense play from Roland Markheim secured the Gladiators' win. |
