Pelicans Notes:
The Pels charge hard in the late innings, but the Marlins hang on for an exciting 15-13 win.

The Marlins score 3 or more in each of the first 4 innings to jump out to a 15-3 lead, but the Pelicans (as has been their style all season long), rally late. After 2 quick outs in the 5th, the Pels reel off 4 consecutive hits capped by BigDog's 2-run Sentra-denter to left. Kirby brings home 2 more with a vicious single to right, then 3 consecutive hit batsmen and a walk add two more. Just when it looked like the rally would come to an end, great hustle by Silk on the basepaths turns a routine 6-4 putout into a 2-run error.

Feelgood pitches 2 great innings - in a microscopic total of 18 pitches - to keep the Pels in it. In the 6th and 7th the Pels make loud contact six times, but great defense by SamS at short keeps the Pels off the bases and 2 runs shy.
