Team Summaries | Pelicans Notes: The Pels, looking for their first win on the season, ask Feelgood to toe the rubber against the Twins. Relying on a wicked changeup and solid defense to hold the Twins to just 4 runs over 6+ innings. The third time thru the lineup, MitchA helped his only mistake over the left field fence, but even that blast left the score at a tight 4-1. In a game full of routine plays that looked, well, routine, the defensive highlight for the Pels was BarMitzvah laying out for a ball up the middle and then rolling into a perfect 6-3 throw to ET to keep a run off the board and end the 5th. The difference in the game was the Twins ability to pick Pelicans off the bases; RyanT was the human rally killer, personally moving 4 or 5 Pels from the basepaths to the bench. Twins Notes: |
