Team Summaries	Paradise Valley Trojans Notes: No notes Red Mountain Lions Notes: The girls kicked off the action with an away game against Paradise Valley. It looked like the girls had something to prove and jumped out with an early lead. Early goals by captains Jane Evans and Chantelle Toney set the tone for the day and both would finish with 5 goals each. Great teamwork and intensity pushed the score at the close of the half to 15-4. The second half saw the Lions offense slow down a bit and concentrate on crisp passes and plays; meanwhile the Trojans came back with some grit and determination and managed to tally another 4 goals. Outstanding play from freshmen Erin Norris (1g, 4a, 3gb) and Annie Jaffe (1a, 3gb, 2ct) helped secure the win for the Lady Lions. Final score Lions 21 - Trojans 8.
