Team Summaries | Marlins Notes: The Marlins survived a strong outing by Bryce C. by countering with strong pitching, stellar baserunning and some help from the Pels. If not for the aggressive baserunning, this game might still be going on tied at 1. P-nut pitched 3 strong innings, giving up the only run allowed by the Marlins. Steak Sandwich came in to close the door by pitching 4 scoreless innings and working out of an inherited bases loaded jam. Defensively, Fro-Do was the star, making a shoestring catch in the first and throwing out a runner from the outfield in the fourth. He also squeezed home a run and stole two bases. Offensively, Panger was the only bright spot for the Marlins, collecting two hits in the leadoff spot and creating havoc on the bases. Pelicans Notes: |
