Blue Jays Notes:
This was a tight ballgame. Going into this game, the jays had allowed 6 runs total in the last three games. Today, they allowed one in the first inning, and that was it. Aidan 'Hollywood' Weinstein pitched 4 brilliant innings to get the Jays on track. He also helped his cause with a double and scored on a passed ball in the 4th.
There were only 5 hits total in this game between the two teams, so there were not a lot of offensive highlights. The Jays seemed to put the ball in play just enough to keep pressure on the Sox. Jays hitters also drew 11 walks that created scoring opportunities when they were not able to hit Sox pitching.
Sam 'Voice' Nelson faced 7 batters in the last two innings to close out the game. 4 of the 6 outs were strike outs. Good Job Voice.
