TBS is located on Thompson Road. If you come from WH the back way past Fisher Meadows Soccer Fields & Avon Old Farms School, Thompson Rd. is the left off of Old Farms Rd. just before you get to AOF School. TBS is about one-half mile down the road on the right.



If you take Brick Yard Rd. off of Rt. 4, go as if you were heading to Avon High School. When the road turns to West Avon Rd., look for Thompson Rd. on your right. Take a right on Thompson Road and about one-half mile down the road on the left is TBS.

3. Continue west through Avon Center.

4. When you reach West Avon Rd. (Route 167), turn left (southbound).

5. Continue southbound on West Avon Rd. past Arch Street & Burnham Rd.

6. Avon Middle School should be on the west side of the street just past Burnham Rd.

7. As an alternate route, turn left (south) onto Old Farms Rd. from Route 44.

8. Follow Old Farms Rd. south to Arch St.

9. Turn right (west) onto onto Arch St. & follow it westbound into West Avon Rd. (Route 167).

10. When you reach West Avon Rd. (Route 167), turn left onto West Avon Rd. (Route 167),& drive south. The Middle School should be on the right.

DIRECTIONS TO LACROSSE FIELDS AT AVON OLD FARMS SCHOOL

Route #1

Travel west on Farmington Ave. through West Hartford into the Town of Farmington.

(If you see the road for UCONN Health Center on your left, you’ve gone too far.)

Turn right onto Talcott Notch Rd. (NOTE: This is a gentle right turn, not a 90 degree turn. When you turn, you will be facing 2 roads. Talcott Notch Rd. is to the left. Follow Talcott Notch Rd.)

Continue on Talcott Notch Rd. You will be traveling in a northwest direction for approx. 2.5 miles.

You will pass through the intersection of Mountain Spring Rd. Continue on Talcott Notch Rd.

Just past the intersection of Old Mountain Rd., you will cross into the Town of Avon. Continue on Talcott Notch Rd.

Shortly after entering the Town of Avon, Talcott Notch Rd. will intersect with Waterville Rd./Rt.10.

Bear right onto Waterville Rd./Rt.10. & travel north on this road.

The next left will be Old Farms Rd., which is controlled by a traffic light.

Turn left onto Old Farms Rd. & travel westbound.

You will cross a bridge over the Farmington River. Continue to travel west onto Old Farms Rd.

You will pass the Fisher Meadows Recreation Facility on the right, where you will see athletic fields. DO NOT GO THERE! Continue to travel west onto Old Farms Rd.

After you pass the Fisher Meadows Recreation Facility on the right, you should see a sign for Avon Old Farms athletic fields on your right. Turn right into the Avon Old Farms School athletic fields complex. It is located adjacent to the Fisher Meadows Recreation Facility.

Travel north into the Avon Old Farms School athletic fields complex. It is an extensive area with numerous fields. You will have to search for the correct field.

Route #2

Travel west on Albany Ave./Rt. 44 & go over Avon Mountain. You will enter the Town of Avon near the top of the mountain.

At the bottom of Avon Mountain, Albany Ave./Rt. 44 will intersect with Waterville Rd./Rt.10.

Turn left onto Waterville Rd./Rt.10 and travel south.

After approx. 2.1 miles, you will see Old Farms Rd. on the right, which is controlled by a traffic light.

Turn right onto Old Farms Rd. & travel westbound.

You will cross a bridge over the Farmington River. Continue to travel west onto Old Farms Rd.

You will pass the Fisher Meadows Recreation Facility on the right, where you will see athletic fields. DO NOT GO THERE! Continue to travel west onto Old Farms Rd.

After you pass the Fisher Meadows Recreation Facility on the right, you should see a sign for Avon Old Farms athletic fields on your right. (If the sign did not float away during the unfortunate flooding). Turn right into the Avon Old Farms athletic fields complex. It is located adjacent to the Fisher Meadows Recreation Facility.

Travel north into the Avon Old Farms athletic fields complex. It is an extensive area with numerous fields. You will have to search for the correct field.

Route #3

From I84 (either direction), take exit 39. You will be on Route 4 in the Town of Farmington.

Follow Route 4 past the intersection of Farmington Ave. and Route 4 & continue straight. At this point, the road now becomes Farmington Ave./Route 4.

Follow Farmington Ave./Route 4 into Farmington. You will pass Hill-Stead Museum Rd. on the left, & Mountain Spring Rd. on the right.

After Mountain Spring Rd., Farmington Ave./ Route 4 will curve to the left and pass the abandoned Parson Chevrolet dealership. It will then make a sharp right turn. This area is apparently known to the locals as “the crazy corner”. Continue on Farmington Ave./ Route 4.

After clearing “the crazy corner”, you will pass Norton Lane on the right, & will come to the intersection of Farmington Ave./Route 4 and Waterville Rd./Rt.10.

Turn right onto Waterville Rd./Rt.10 & head northeast.

As you go northeast on Waterville Rd./Rt.10, Tunxis Plantation Country Club will be on your left, while Country Club of Farmington will be on your right. Continue northeast on Waterville Rd./Rt.10.

Shortly after passing Aqueduct Lane, you will enter the Town of Avon. Continue northeast on Waterville Rd./Rt.10.

You will pass Talcott Notch Rd. on your right. Continue northeast on Waterville Rd./Rt.10.

The next left will be Old Farms Rd., which is controlled by a traffic light.

Turn left onto Old Farms Rd. & travel westbound.

You will cross a bridge over the Farmington River. Continue to travel west onto Old Farms Rd.

You will pass the Fisher Meadows Recreation Facility on the right, where you will see athletic fields. DO NOT GO THERE! Continue to travel west onto Old Farms Rd.

After you pass the Fisher Meadows Recreation Facility on the right, you should see a sign for Avon Old Farms athletic fields on your right. Turn right into the Avon Old Farms School athletic fields complex. It is located adjacent to the Fisher Meadows Recreation Facility.

NOTE:

If Farmington Ave./Route 4 is jammed, as it is wont to be, try these alternatives:

Take a right turn onto Farmington Ave., heading towards West Hartford.

Continue past UCONN Health Center.

At the intersection of Farmington Ave. & Talcott Notch Rd., make a sharp left turn onto Talcott Notch Rd.

Follow the directions for Route #1, above.


OR:

If you have passed the If Farmington Ave./Route 4 intersection, turn right at Mountain Spring Rd.

Follow Mountain Spring Rd. until it intersects with Talcott Notch Rd.

Make a left turn onto Talcott Notch Rd.

Follow the directions for Route #1, above.

DIRECTIONS TO ROCKWELL PARK

Bristol is an extremely challenging place in which to drive & navigate if you are not a native, or have not spent substantial time there. Leave early & be patient.

I would also recommend that you review your route on www.mapquest.com. By left-clicking on the map there & holding the button down, you can drag the map around & can review your entire route from West Hartford to Rockwell Park.

Route #1

Take I-84 westbound through West Hartford, Farmington & New Britain.

In New Britain, I-84 westbound will take a fairly sharp curve to the right. Keep right.

On the opposite side of the I-84, you will see a Tomasso Brothers construction facility. Keep right.

Shortly after the curve, you will see Exit 33, Route 72 westbound. Take this exit.

You are now in the Town of Plainville.

Follow Route 72 to the end of the divided highway & the light. This will be approx. 3 miles.

At the light, turn right onto Forestville Ave. in Plainville. This is also Route 72 westbound.

Shortly after the turn, you will enter the City of Bristol, The road will turn into East Main Street/ Route 72 westbound.

Continue westbound.

You are in the Forestville section of Bristol.

At Center St., East Main Street/ Route 72 westbound. will take a quick right, then a quick left.

The road will become Broad St./ Route 72. Continue westbound.

After approx. 1.3 miles, you will encounter a traffic light & a staggered, complicated intersection with Middle St./ Route 229, King St./ Route 229 & Memorial Blvd.

Turn left & go south on King St./ Route 229 for approx. 1 block, until the next traffic light.

At this traffic light, you will be facing Middle St./ Route 229, & Memorial Blvd/ Route 72 will be on your right.

Turn right onto Memorial Blvd/ Route 72 & proceed west.

COMPLICATION: After a couple of blocks, Route 72 splits off to the right & becomes Riverside Ave./ Route 72. DO NOT FOLLOW ROUTE 72- STAY ON MEMORIAL BLVD WESTBOUND. (You will see Route 72 again, however.)

After approx. ½ mile you will cross Main St. The road will now become School St./ Route 72. Continue westbound.

After approx. 3/8 mile, you will encounter the intersection of School St./Route 72 & West St./ Route 69. (If you pass Muzzy Field, you’ve gone too far.)

Turn right onto West St./ Route 69 & proceed north for approx. 2 blocks.

Turn left onto Jacobs St. & proceed west.

The next right should be Steele Rd.

Turn right onto Steele Rd. & proceed north for approx. 600-700 feet.

The entrance to Rockwell Park should be on the left.

Turn left into Rockwell Park & travel west for for 400-600 feet.

The field should be on the left.

The field is located within Rockwell Park, approximately 300-500 feet directly north of Muzzy Field. Muzzy Field is south of Rockwell Park





Route #2

Take I-84 westbound through West Hartford, Farmington, New Britain & Southington.

In Southington, take Exit 31, West St./Route 229.

Turn right & go north on West St./Route 229.

Just prior to entering the City of Bristol West St./Route 229 forks. Keep left.

Upon entering the City of Bristol, West St./Route 229 will turn into Middle St./Route 229.

(NOTE: the West St. in Southington does not connect to the West St. in Bristol.)

You will pass the headquarters of what started as a small cable TV company in 1980, then called Eastern Sports Network..

It is now known as ESPN.

Continue on Middle St./Route 229 in a northwest direction for approx. 1.5 miles, until you reach the intersection of Memorial Blvd/ Route 72.

Turn left onto Memorial Blvd/ Route 72 and proceed west.

COMPLICATION: After a couple of blocks, Route 72 splits off to the right & becomes Riverside Ave./ Route 72. DO NOT FOLLOW ROUTE 72- STAY ON MEMORIAL BLVD WESTBOUND. (You will see Route 72 again, however.)

After approx. ½ mile you will cross Main St. The road will now become School St./ Route 72. Continue westbound.

Turn right onto West St./ Route 69 & proceed north for approx. 2 blocks.

Burlington Youth Lacrosse
Burlington Youth Lacrosse plays at Lewis Mills HS. It's on route 4 in Burlington.

From 44 in Canton go left onto 179 into Collinsville. Follow 179 to intersection with route 4. Right on route 4.

Follow route 4 to the second traffic light (there are some flashing lights, ignore them for these directions). The second light is 4 miles from the intersection of route 4 and 179. Right at second light onto Lyon Road-- Lewis Mills is on the right. The field is out front along route 4.
Canton
Cheshire Academy
Route 84 West to Exit 27- Route 691. Follow Route 691 to Route 10 exit. Make a right at the end of the exit ramp. Follow Route 10 for four miles. Cheshire Academy is just beyond the Maplecroft Shopping Center. Turn left at next light into campus.
Ellington
Directions to Ellington High School:

From Rte. 91 North or South: Take Exit 45 (Warehouse Point/Ellington). Follow Rte. 140E through East Windsor and into Ellington for 9.8 miles. Ellington High School is on the left a short distance beyond the Ellington Town Green.

From 84 East: Take Exit 66 (Tunnel Road, Vernon). At the stop sign at the end of the exit ramp turn left onto South Frontage Rd. At the stop sign/blinking light turn left onto Bolton Rd. At the light turn right onto Rte. 30. After a short distance, turn left onto West St. (The Vernon Police Station is on the left.) Continue on West St. for approx. 2 1/2 miles. Continue straight onto Rte. 83N into Ellington. Follow Rte. 83N for approx. 3 miles. Turn left onto Rte. 140W (Maple St.). Ellington High School is on the right.

From 84 West: Take Exit 66 (Tunnel Road, Vernon). At the end of the exit ramp turn right. At the stop sign turn left onto Bolton Road. At the light turn right onto Rte. 30. After a short distance, turn left onto West St. (The Vernon Police Station is on the left.) Continue on West St. for approx. 2 1/2 miles. Continue straight onto Rte. 83N into Ellington. Follow Rte. 83N for approx. 3 miles. Turn left onto Rte. 140W (Maple St.). Ellington High School is on the right.
Ethel Walker
Head North on Mountain Road. Drive until the end.
Turn Left onto Simsbury Road (Route 185).
Turn Right onto 10-202. (Pettibone’s Tavern will be on your right.)
Take a left at your first light. (Canal Street).
Continue straight onto Sandhill until you reach the back of the Ethel Walker Campus.
The fields are on the left, there is parking right at the fields.
If you reach Bushy Hill you have too far.

From the North: 91 South to Berlin Turnpike South (5/15). Right exit onto Route 175 (Cedar Street). Follow road straight (the CT Humane Society will be on right) to Rt. 175 and take a right onto. Follow through the center of town. Take a right onto Alumni Road just before Citgo station. Follow alumni road 200 yards until gravel parking lot is on left and take a right up hill and field is on the right.

From the East: 84 West to Berlin Turnpike (5/15) South. Right exit onto Route 175 (Cedar Street). Follow road straight (the CT Humane Society will be on right) to Rt. 175 and take a right onto. Follow through the center of town. Take a right onto Alumni road just before Citgo station. Follow alumni road 200 yards until gravel parking lot is on left and take a right up hill and field is on the right.

From the West: 84 East to Route 9 South. Take exit for Rt. 175. At the end of exit take a left. Then take a quick right at the next light onto Fenn Road. And then go through one light and take a left onto Rt. 175 (Cedar St.) Take left onto Alumni Road, just after Citgo station.

Newington, Mill Pond Field

Take North Main St. Road will turn into South Main St. Continue into Newington until you pass a Stop and Shop on your left. At the next intersection take a left onto Cedar St, Rte 175. Turn right at the 4th traffic signal (Willard Avenue) and left at Garfield Street. The Town Hall will be on the left; field is on your right next to a baseball field. Park in lot across the street from baseball field.

Newington-Eliz Green El Schoo
best way to the field from West Hartford is to take Route 176 which is off of New Britain Ave in Elmwood. Follow Route 176, which is Main Street, to traffic light at Hartford Ave. Take a left onto Hartford Ave, then right at traffic light onto Mountain Road. Bear right onto Connecticut Ave and turn right onto Dewey Ave. The field and parking lot is at the end of Dewey Avenue.
Newington-Martin Kellogg MS
Go South on Newington Rd./ CT-173 (near Elmwood Community Center in West Hartford). Continue to follow CT-173. Turn left onto Harding Ave. Turn right into school driveway. (It's under 2 miles from Elmwood CC).

North Division
Paul Bowers Tourn. (Girls)
Route 91 North to Exit 47E. Proceed aproximately 7 miles to first light in Somers. Make a right onto Maple Street and bear right at intersection, keeping the mill on your right and the dam on your left. At the fork, bear left keeping the Old Blacksmith's shop on your right. Follow straight approximately 1/2 mile. You are now on Pinney Road. The fields will be on the right.

1. Drive north on North Main Street in West Hartford, past Northwest Catholic High School to the intersection of Simsbury Rd.

2. At that intersection, turn left onto Simsbury Rd. & drive in a northwesternly direction.

3. Continue over the hill. The road will eventually turn into Hartford Rd.

4. At the bottom of the hill, bear left and go over the bridge.

5. After going over the bridge, continue until you reach the intersection. That will be Hopmeadow Rd., also known as Rt. 10/202. The Chart House restaurant should be on the right.

6. Turn right onto Hopmeadow Rd. You should be heading north towards Simsbury center.

7. At the intersection of Hopmeadow Rd. & West St. (also known as Rt. 167 & Rt. 309), take a left turn

8. Firetown Rd., on the right (north) side of West St., is only a few hundred yards from the intersection of Hopmeadow Rd. & West St. Take a right onto Firetown Rd. & head north.

9. Henry James Memorial Middle School is approximately ¼ to ½ mile north on Firetown Rd. on the west side of the road.
Park in the rear.

stoplight (a blue state sign is on right that says Somers

Schools next right). The Somers Fire Department is on the right. Take a right at this intersection (Ninth District Road). The school campus will be the first left (Vision Boulevard). Somers High School is located at the end of the school road on the left. Mabelle B. Avery Middle School is the first school on the left. The Somers Elementary School is the second building on the right.

Follow North Main Street heading north. It turns into Cottage Grove Road near CIGNA. Make a left onto Route 189. Follow Route 189 through Bloomfield to Route 187. Take Route 187 to Suffield. Right after you see the first sign that you’ve entered Suffield, Route 187 takes a 90-degree left turn at a stop sign—take that left. Shortly, turn right on Mountain Road, look for Spalding School on the right, and Bazin Bruce Park will be between the school and the police station.

Alternate route: if you don’t take that left when Route 187 turns, but rather go straight, you can still get there easily: you’ll go by Suffield High School, and then the road curves and you then turn LEFT on Mountain Road where the road T's, and you'll find the park on the left right after the police station.

To Campus from the South
Via I-91 North, Exit 19 in Northampton. From the exit ramp, turn right onto Route 9 and go approximately 4.5 miles to Route 116 North (left turn at the lights) 1 mile to UMass exit. Travelers coming from I-91 be advised the bridge at EXIT 19 is undergoing major repairs. Traffic delays may be significant. /more information on bridge construction/

Via I-91 North, Exit 24 in Deerfield. At the stop sign at the top of the ramp turn right onto Routes 5 and 10, and immediately turn right again at the traffic lights onto Route 116 South. Continue 8 miles to the UMass exit.

To Campus from the North
Via I-91 South, Exit 25 in Deerfield. At the end of the ramp turn left and follow the road to the intersection. Turn right onto Routes 5 & 10 South. Go 1 mile, then turn left onto Route 116 South. Follow for 8 miles to the UMass exit.

Via I-93 South. Follow I-93 to I-495 South. Follow to Route 2 West. Continue on Route 2 to exit 16 (Belchertown/Amherst). Follow Route 202 for about 15 miles to blinking light at Route 9 and 116 Amherst exit (Pelham). Turn right and follow for 7 miles to Amherst center. Follow signs to UMass.

To Campus from the East via Route 2
Via Route 2 West to exit 16 (Belchertown/Amherst). From Route 2 take Route 202 South for about 15 miles to a blinking yellow light at Amherst Road. (You will see signs "to Rt 9 and Rt 116"). Turn right and follow Amherst Road (becomes Pelham Road after about 4 miles) for 7 miles to Amherst center. Follow signs to UMass.

To Campus from the West via Route 2
Via Route 2 East. Follow Route 2 east to Greenfield/I-91 exit. Follow I-91 south to exit 25 in Deerfield. At the end of the ramp turn left and follow the road to the intersection. Turn right onto Routes 5 & 10 South. Go 1 mile, then turn left onto Route 116 South. Follow for 8 miles to the UMass exit.

To Campus from the East or West via I-90 (Massachusetts Turnpike)
Exit 8 (Palmer). Follow Route 32 South to Palmer, take Route 20 West to Route 181 North into Belchertown, and then Route 9 West to Amherst. Follow signs to UMass.

Exit 7 (Ludlow). Follow Route 21 North to U.S. 202 North to Route 9 West to Amherst center. Follow signs to UMass.

Exit 5 (Chicopee). Follow Route 33 North to Route 116 North to Amherst center. Turn left at the light into Route 9 West. Follow signs to UMass.

Travel eastbound on I84, through Hartford, East Hartford and Manchester

Take the exit, exit number 66, towards TUNNEL ROAD/VERNON/BOLTON.

Keep LEFT at the fork in the ramp.

Turn LEFT onto S FRONTAGE RD & travel to next intersection.

Turn LEFT onto BOLTON RD & go north. You will cross over I84.

Follow Bolton Rd. north to CT-30/HARTFORD TURNPIKE.

Turn RIGHT onto CT-30/HARTFORD TURNPIKE.

Turn LEFT onto WEST ST (approx. 1 block). The Vernon Police Dept. will be on the left as you turn onto West St. Follow West St. past Vernon Middle School, on the right.

Continue on West St. until you reach the intersection of West St., Ridgewood Rd.(on the right) & Regan Rd.(on the left).

In the upper left hand corner of the intersection will be the HQS. for the 242nd Engineer Battalion of the Ct. National Guard. (Military vehicles will be parked there.)

Turn left onto Regan Rd. & travel 1 block. The field will be on the right, just behind the Armory.


NOTE: You may wish to consider trying the following alternative route from West Hartford to Interstate-291;

Travel north on North Main Street in West Hartford into Bloomfield, where it turns into Hall Boulevard (Route 218).

Follow Hall Boulevard north where it makes a 90 degree turn to the right (east) and becomes Cottage Grove Road (Route 218).

Continue traveling east on Cottage Grove Road (Route 218) through Bloomfield into Windsor.

Eventually, Cottage Grove Road (Route 218) will intersect with Interstate-91 & Interstate 291. Follow the signs and get onto Interstate 291 heading eastbound. Get off onto Interstate 84 eastbound near the Buckland Mall in South Windsor & follow the above directions to Legion Field.

In North Bloomfield, follow CT-189 by turning right onto Tunxis Rd. If you have ended up on Blue Hills Ave. Ext., you’ve gone too far! (Hartford Ave. turns into Blue Hills Ave. Ext.)

Continue south on Tunxis Rd./ CT-189 through Bloomfield Center.

When CT-189 crosses CT-178 (Park Ave./ Mountain Ave., it will turn into Bloomfield Ave. Continue south on Bloomfield Ave./ CT-189.

At the intersection of Cottage Grove Rd./ CT-218, turn right onto Cottage Grove Rd./ CT-218 & continue west.

Cottage Grove Rd. will eventually bear left & turn into Hall Blvd./CT-218. Continue south on Hall Blvd./ CT-218.

At the intersection of Simsbury Rd., Hall Blvd./ CT-218 crosses into West Hartford & turns into North Main St./ CT-218. Continue south on North Main St./ CT-218.

You will pass Hall High School, Albany Ave., & Asylum Ave. Continue south on North Main St./ CT-218.

At the intersection of Farmington Ave.,, North Main St./ CT-218 will turn into South Main St./ CT-218. Continue south on South Main St./ CT-218.

Continue south past Rockledge Golf Course. Continue south on South Main St./ CT-218 for several hundred feet & look for West Point Terrence. It will be the first right after Rockledge Golf Course.

Second route

Go south on Salmon Brook St./ CT-202/10.

When you enter the Town of Simsbury, CT-202/10 will turn into Hopmeadow St./ CT-202/10.

Continue south on Hopmeadow St./ CT-202/10. You will pass West St./Ct-167/309 on the right.

Turn LEFT onto HARTFORD RD/CT-185 S

Follow HARTFORD RD/CT-185 S over Talcott Mountain.

On the top of the Talcott Mountain, you will cross into the Town of Bloomfield. HARTFORD RD/CT-185 S will turn into Simsbury Rd./CT-185 S. Continue south on Simsbury Rd./CT-185 S.

At the bottom of the mountain, turn right onto North Main St./ CT-218. You will cross into the Town of West Hartford. Continue south on North Main St./ CT-218.

You will pass Hall High School, Albany Ave., & Asylum Ave. Continue south on North Main St./ CT-218.

DIRECTIONS TO CONARD HIGH SCHOOL

From the east: Tolland, Vernon, South Windsor & the north (Somers, Western Mass.)


Go to I-84.

Take I-84 westbound toward Hartford.

Continue thru Hartford into West Hartford.

Take Exit 41.

Take a right turn onto South Main Street.

You will be confronted with a traffic light almost immediately. This is the intersection of South Main Street & Beechwood Rd.

If you are able to, take a left turn onto Beechwood Rd. Proceed west for 1 block, to Ashford Rd.

The lacrosse fields are located on the northwest corner of the intersection of Beechwood Rd. & Ashford Rd. They are visible from the road.

Turn right onto Ashford Rd. The pedestrian entrance to the fields is at the intersection of Ashford Rd. & West Point Terrace.

If you cannot make the turn at Beechwood Rd., refrain from panicking. Simply proceed north on South Main Street for 1 block, to the intersection of West Point Terrance on the left.

Turn left onto West Point Terrace & proceed west for 1 block. The pedestrian entrance to the fields is at the intersection of Ashford Rd. & West Point Terrace.

If you are coming at rush hour, the alternative route may be of interest to you:

Take I-84 westbound toward Hartford.

Get off I-84 at the junction with I-291 westbound.

(if you are coming south from Somers, etc., take exit 35B for Cottage Grove Rd. CT-218, westbound.)

Follow I-291 westbound to the end, in Windsor.

Take Exit #1 to CT-218 (also known as Cottage Grove Rd., in Windsor.

Turn LEFT onto CT-218 (also known as Cottage Grove Rd.)

Follow CT-218 (also known as Cottage Grove Rd.) westbound for approximately 4 miles. You will eventually enter the Town of Bloomfield. You will pass a shopping center containing a Super Stop & Shop, a McDonalds’, a Boston Market & a Strawberrys.

The road will eventually take a 90 degree curve to the left & become Hall Rd. Continue on this road southbound.

You will eventually cross Simsbury Rd. & enter into the Town Of West Hartford. Hall Rd. becomes North Main Street.

Continue southbound on North Main Street past Hall High School.

You will pass Hall High School, Albany Ave., & Asylum Ave. Continue south on North Main St.

* Take Route 44 East into West Hartford.
* Turn left onto King Philip Drive.
* Proceed for 3/10ths of a mile. Turn right onto Mohawk Drive.
* Proceed for approximately 200 yards. Turn left into the driveway leading to the back of the school.

From Route 84:
* Exit at the Park Road / West Hartford Center exit.
* Turn right at the bottom of the exit ramp.
* Take the first left (it comes up quickly) onto Trout Brook Drive. Follow for a little more than 2.5 miles. (Trout Brook Drive turns into King Philip Drive.)
* Turn right onto Mohawk Drive.
* Proceed for approximately 200 yards. Turn left into the driveway leading to the back of the school.



From the east (South Windsor, Tolland, Vernon)

DIRECTIONS TO KING PHILIP MIDDLE SCHOOL

Take I-84 westbound toward Hartford.

Get off I-84 at the junction with I-291 westbound.

Follow I-291 westbound to the end, in Windsor.

Take Exit #1 to CT-218 (also known as Cottage Grove Rd., in Windsor.

Turn LEFT onto CT-218 (also known as Cottage Grove Rd.)

You will be facing a large brick structure, which will be King Philip School.

Turn right onto King Philip Drive & drive south past the school to Mohawk Dr.

Turn left onto Mohawk Dr. & drive eastbound. The driveway into the rear of the school will be on the left. The lacrosse fields are located east of the gym.
Westminster School

Windsor- Sage Park Middle Sch.
Take North Main Street north toward Bloomfield. North Main will turn into Cottage Grove Road (Rt. 218. Follow Cottage Grove Rd. to the intersection with Blue Hills Avenue (Rt. 187). Make a left onto Blue Hills Avenue heading north. Follow Blue Hills Avenue to the next major intersection, which is Park Avenue (Rt. 178) and make a right onto Park Avenue. Follow Park Avenue under Interstate 91, Past the Trinity Methodist Church (on left), around a bend and through a blinking light. The next left after the blinking light Sage Park Road. Make a left onto Sage Park Road. The Middle School will be about 1/2 mile up on the left. Go through the stop sign and make a left into the parking just past the school. The lacrosse fields are to the right behind the tennis courts.
